Chloë Brushwood Rose
Chloë Brushwood Rose (she/her) is a Professor at York University who is interested in queer and community-based representation and storytelling. She is a co-founder of the Femme Story Archives and Principal Investigator of the On Our Own Terms oral history project.

Andi Schwartz (she/her) is a writer and feminist scholar working at the intersection of feminist media studies, critical femininity studies, and queer histories. She is a co-founder of the Femme Story Archives and the Critical Femininities Network.

Laura Brightwell
Laura Brightwell (she/her) was a Research Associate on the On Our Own Terms project from 2023-2024. Laura holds a PhD in Gender, Feminist, & Women’s Studies from York University.

Jenna Danchuk
Jenna Danchuk (she/her) was a Research Associate on the On Our Own Terms project from 2023-2024. She is a PhD candidate in the Department of Gender, Feminist, and Women’s Studies at York University.
Helen Yaqing Han
Helen Yaqing Han (she/her) has been a Research Assistant and design lead for the Femme Story Archives off and on since Fall 2023. Helen holds a Masters of Design and PhD in Education from York University.

Tina Mehri
Tina Mehri (she/her) has been a Research Assistant and audio-visual lead for the Femme Story Archives since Fall 2025. She is a filmmaker and MFA student in Film and Screenwriting. Her creative work focuses on character-driven stories that explore the complexity of human experience and emotional truth across diverse and inclusive perspectives.
Sarah York-Bertram
Sarah York-Bertram (she/her) is a Collaborator on the Mapping Femme Stories project and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Winnipeg.
